With four applied plaques; three with sailing scenes, the fourth with presentation inscription & coat of arms:

Troisieme Annee
Havre 1913"
13 inches (33cm) long
9 3/4 inch (25cm) square at the base
12 inches (30.5cm) high

THE 3RD EUROPEAN INTERNATIONAL REGATTA, HAVRE 1913
Won by Captain Richard Travers Dixon RE, a well known yachtsman and speedboat enthusiast. Born is Sydney, Australia, he was in the Gold Medal winning crew
for the 7 metre class at the 1908 Olympic Regatta in London, and was an active member of the Automobile Club of Great Britain's marine motor committee, presiding over the Harmsworth Trophy races in 1904-1906. In 1910 he commissioned the Payne-designed 6 metre "Snowdrop" from Dixons in Southampton. The class was originally gunter rigged, and Dixon was instrumental in persuading the 6 metres to adopt the new Bermudian rig. It is possible that this trophy may have been won by Dixon in "Snowdrop" in 1913.
