A Louis XV style soup tureen on stand

Robert Linzeler was a Parisian Jeweller and silversmith who, amongst other works created many important sailing trophies in the early 19th century
Stylistically, this tureen owes its design to the masterworks of Pierre Germain from the mid 18th century & is an excellent example of the Rococo style.
